The "MadIam's" transformation from the family klutz to the very picture of grace
through her dancing has been impressive. She began taking Cabaret lessons in April
2002.  She tried several styles and found that her passion lies with Tribal Belly
dancing and Burlesque. The connection with the other dancers and freedom of
improvisation captivated her.  Her thirst to grow as a dancer moved her to the use
of props. She favors her sword, but also dances with candles, palm flames, veil and
double veil, fan and the feather boa.

In October 2003, "The MadIam" tested her skills and was rewarded with a spot in
the Bedouin Tribe. She has studied various other styles, which include Egyptian
Cabaret, Tribal Skirt, and Bollywood. "The MadIam's" ambitions did not stop there,
she tried out and was accepted to the prestigious Domba Dance Troupe in April
2005. With Domba she has been fortunate to travel through out the United States
and Europe both as a performer and instructor.

When "The MadIam" isn't conjuring up a little some some with the Dames du
Ventre (aka the Hoochi Koochi Koo Dancers) she performs with
The Sexy
Scallywags , a  small troupe of fire performers and fusion style belly dancing and
Burlesque.  Visit the events page for future performances and  The Sexy Scallywags
web site for more information about this new and exciting troupe.

Always looking to have fun and learn more, "The MadIam" is pursuing modern
dance, jazz cabaret, can-can, and anything Burlesque.  She shares her love, energy
and knowledge of dancing through her classes and performances.

Enjoy!
